The short version. Omega Guard is privacy-first by design. We monitor the public web for fake sites impersonating our members. We analyze impostor website artifacts — not people. We do not build profiles of individuals, we do not sell data, and a trained human reviews before any action is taken.
Who we are
Omega Guard is a brand-protection and consumer-protection service operated by Omega Point Solutions LLC ("Omega Point," "we," "us"), a limited liability company organized in Illinois. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and the Omega Guard service, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Member enrollment information. When a business enrolls, we collect business details you provide — such as your domains, business name, and a contact email — and a record proving you control the domains you ask us to protect.
- Brand fingerprint data. To detect copies, we capture publicly available characteristics of your authentic website (for example, page structure, favicon and asset hashes, and a screenshot used for visual comparison).
- Monitoring data. We collect publicly available information about candidate impostor sites — domain registration data, certificates, hosting details, and page content — to assess whether they are copying a member's brand.
- Website usage. When you visit this site or use the public verification tool, our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) may process standard technical data such as IP address and request metadata to deliver and secure the site. We do not use advertising trackers.
What we do not do
- We do not build profiles of individuals. Omega Guard analyzes website artifacts, not people.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
- We do not monitor anyone's brand without that business's enrollment and consent.
- We are not a surveillance, profiling, or biometric system.
How we use information
We use the information above only to operate and improve the service: to verify a member's authentic identity, detect and confirm clone or impostor sites, preserve evidence, prepare takedown materials, and communicate with members. Confirmed detections may be recorded in our internal intelligence systems to improve detection accuracy. Software assists every step; a trained human reviews and decides before any action, and any AI involvement is disclosed.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to deliver the service: with infrastructure providers that host and secure our systems, with domain registrars and hosting providers when submitting a takedown request on a member's behalf, and where required by law or to protect rights and safety. We do not share member data with advertisers.
Data retention & security
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service and to maintain the integrity of preserved evidence, then delete or de-identify it. Evidence is hashed with SHA-256 to maintain a tamper-evident chain of custody. See our Security page for more on how we protect data.
Your choices
Members may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their account information, and may cancel monitoring at any time. To make a request, contact us at the address below.
Children
Omega Guard is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. We will revise the effective date above when we do.
